| April 2012 "That's what makes you beautiful..." Well, rehearsals are about to begin for Mad T Party and I am so excited! I met with Tom Talmon at his studio to discuss the White Rabbit ears he is creating for the show...Tom, you are a GENIUS! I had many magical events with Disney this month...spring break at the Downtown Disney Main Stage, the big Earth Day Celebration, also held at the Downtown Disney Main Stage, and the 100th anniversary of the Fluor Corp. in the Grand Ballroom of The Disneyland Hotel!! Also...a big thanks to Karen at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach for inviting me to DJ their Father-Daughter event. March 2012 "A very merry Unbirthday to you..." Great news!! I have been chosen to be one of the White Rabbit DJs for the new "Mad T Party" opening this summer at Disney California Adventure Park! I am so incredibly honored to be part of this spectacular show. March was also filled with wonderful and fun events! I loved giving my time to Laura's House and The Legecy Ball for fund raisers. A super fun Mother-Son event at the Eagle Glen Golf Course, a beautiful Disney Fairytale Wedding, and one grand evening in the Grand Ballroom of The Disneyland Hotel!! February 2012 "Every day, every day I write the book..." I was invited to Guest DJ this month at Chapter One: the modern local, in hip downtown Santa Ana. Such a great crowd, and the food is AMAZING! Thanks to Jeff, for having me! I had a wonderful time at the Eagle Glen Golf Course, as well! There was an incredible Disney audition I attended too...exciting things ahead!! January 2012 "I know this little chapel on the boulevard we can goooooo..." My year started off right with a beautiful wedding at Callaway Winery in Temecula. Next up, another wedding, this time at the legendary Millenium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles! I ended the month with an amazing party at the Citizens Bank Arena for the Lingerie Football League...it's going to be a GREAT year!! December 2011 "...But Baby, it's cold outside..." The Holidays are keeping me busy! This month I was at Orange Hill, Citizen's Bank Arena, a private event in Fullerton, along with two Disney Fairytale Weddings! On Christmas Eve I was on the main stage at Downtown Disney, and it was so much fun!! I brought in the New Year at the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel with my friends, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Goofy! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! November 2011 "Every day I'm shufflin'..." It's a very magical Disney season for me! Mickey & Minny joined me for two Disney Fairytale Weddings. I also had the pleasure to DJ for the first time at Downtown Disney District's very cool store, Vault 28! A lovely private party in Newport Beach and an exciting event at the Citizens Bank Arena's Salior Jerry Bar finished off the month. I have so much to be thankful for! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! October 2011 "Welcome to the Space Jam. Here's your chance, do your dance at the Space Jam..." October means Mickey's Halloween Party at the Disneyland Resort!! Once again I am at Tomorrowland Terrace for "Buzz Lightyear's Intergalactic Space Jam!" October is also a wonderful time to get married, and I was invited to DJ two very magical Disney Fairytale Weddings! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! September 2011 "And I ran...I ran so far away..." It's time for the Disneyland Half Marathon! I got to DJ at the Festival Arena inside the Disneyland Resort for the Pasta in the Park Party with my friends...Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale...the whole gang was there! Mickey and Minny also joined me for a Disney Fairytale Wedding. September ended with a beautiful wedding at Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach! August 2011 "I do, I do, I do, I do. I do..." Three Disney Fairytale Weddings, and FIVE more weddings all across Los Angeles and Orange County! Thanks to Disney, The Laguna Cliffs Marriott, Turnip Rose, and Hyatt Long Beach!! July 2011 "Summer, Summer ,Summertime..." The amazing Disney Team invited me to DJ at The Disneyland Hotel and The Disney Paradise Pier Hotel! Other super fun events at Irons in the Fire, in San Clemente, and private events in Oceanside. June 2011 "Summertime...and the livin' is easy..." Busy, fun, exciting, and elegant events at the Disneyland Hotel, Los Coyote Country Club, San Juan Hills Golf Course, the Sun & Sail Club, and Bella Collina Town & Golf Club! May 2011 "Yo Ho Yo Ho, a Pirate's life for me..." "Happy Birthday...Happy Birthday to you..." I have the best job ever! This month I had the honor to DJ a premiere party for the new movie "Pirate's of the Caribbean 4, on Stranger Tides", at the Disneyland Hotel Pool...and loved every single moment!! Then...I was chosen to DJ a private Birthday party for the one, the only, the incredible...STEVIE WONDER! This amazing event was held inside the Disneyland Resort and truly one of the greatest events of my life! My greatest thanks to the entire Disney Team for including me on their many Magical Adventures! May also had me DJing at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, the Surf & Sand in Laguna Beach, and the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach. Life is Grand! April 2011 "Yes Sir, that's my baby..." The 1920's have followed me into March with a 20's themed wedding at the stunning Park Plaza in Los Angeles! Other amazing events at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, and two Disneyland Hotel events...Thanks Mouse! March 2011 "I'm putting on my Top Hat..." It's time for the Legacy Ball in Laguna Beach! This means I put the DJ equipment aside, and don my best flapper attire! February 2011 "Viva...Viva...Los Vegas!" Vacation time...Vegas Baby. On Feb 26 I had the honor of being the DJ/MC for a Coca-Cola event inside Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure Park!! January 2011 "Under the Sea, Under the Sea..." I always enjoy events at the Long Beach Aquarium! I set up right under the big whale, too fun! Other events included the Huntington Beach Hyatt and private events in Laguna Beach. December 2010 "Christmas Time is Here..." December is always super busy for me and busy is always good! The Disneyland Hotel, Disney Paradise Pier Hotel, The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, The Victoria Club in Riverside, The Yorba Linda Country Club were all decked out for the Holidays, with me on the decks! New Year's Eve was celebrated again at Disney Paradise Pier Hotel...HAPPY NEW YEAR!! November 2010 "Red, Red Wine..." Events at the Temecula Creek winery! Also the Disneyland Hotel and the Shilo Inn. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! October 2010 "Welcome to the Space Jam..." I am honored to be back once again for Mickey's Halloween Party at the Disneyland Resort! This year I am your Space Diva DJ for "Buzz Lightyear's Intergalactic Space Jam!" Thanks Mouse! Other events are at the beautiful Victoria Club, in Riverside, and the wonderful Disneyland Hotel. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! September 2010 "Oh Canada..." Vacation time! Vancouver and Victoria, two of my favorite places!! August 2010 "And I see your True Colors..." Along with a events at Dove Canyon and the Disneyland Hotel, August is volunteer time at the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach! Support the Arts! July 2010 "Oh, oh, oh, it's maaagic...you know, never believe it's not so..." I have had the most incredible month! Walt Disney Pictures set up an amazing stage at Downtown Disney to celebrate the opening of the movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and I had the honor of DJ'ing this incredible Dance Party! That meant 41 straight nights as a DJ (have I mentioned I love my job?)...Yep, 41 nights in a row, and I fit in some weddings in between there too! Our Sorcerer's Apprentice show was directed by Sue Hamilton (She's the BEST), and I had some very talented and adorable performers who starred as our very own Sorcerer's Apprentices. Beaker, Jeffrey, and Justin...I can't wait to work with you all again...it's the coolest job EVER! June 2010 "Just dance, it'll be OK, DA doo doo..." Events at the Dana Point Yacht Club, Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure Park, and even a good old House Party at an amazingly beautiful home in Riverside...life is grand! I'm back at the Surf & Sand Hotel in beautiful Laguna Beach to DJ a private event for Origins Skin Care. What's that? A gift bag full of amazing Origins Skin Care products for lil' old me as a thank you? Wow! Thank YOU! April 2010 "I left my heart...in San Francisco..." Took a short break from "work" (what I do is really too much fun to be called work!) and had a nice vacation with my husband and daughter in San Francisco. The food, the sights, the loooong walks...I loved every minute! Also made time to DJ some lovely weddings and sing at some Open House nights for Invisible Touch DJ and Lighting. March 2010 "Come on-a my house, my house, I'm gonna give you candy..." A move to a house in a lovely new neighborhood, beautiful weddings, and time spent with my favorite Irish/Bluegrass/Rockabilly band, CRAIC HAUS! Next up...wedding season! December 31, 2009 "What are you doing New Year's...New Year's Eve?..." The Holiday season was a wonderful! Winter Weddings, Corporate Parties, Daddy & Daughter Dances, Birthdays...and more! Of course, tonight brings me to the amazing Disney Paradise Pier Hotel to DJ their New Year's Eve Party...it has truly been an outstanding year! October 2009 "This is Halloween, everybody make a scream..." The Disneyland Resort keeps me very busy this time of year! I was one of three DJs chosen to perform for "Mickey's Trick or Treat Party", a month long celebration at Disney California Adventure Park. My stage was set at Pirate Wharf and It was an absolute blast hanging out with Captain Hook, Jack Sparrow, and my entire cast of merry pirates. Happy Halloween! September 2009 "High diddly dee, an actor's life for me!..." The summer has been filled with not only DJ events, but theatre as well! I was honored to be a part of Gallimaufry Theatre's production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie", in Laguna Beach. Summer also brings "The Pageant of the Masters" to Laguna Beach, and my family once again took part in this fantastic show. June 14, 2009 "I'm back in the saddle again, I'm baaaack..." Wow! A very busy couple of weeks! I was a guest DJ at Kimora in Irvine (Thanks, Steve Burdick!) and it was a blast mixing it up all night long. Congratulations to Lauren & Cooper on a most beautiful wedding in Huntington Beach. El Morro Elementary, in Laguna Beach, held a fund raiser with myself as the DJ and special guest artist Justin Roberts. Justin and his band were incredible! Next was the outstanding wedding of Natasha & Adam in Vista, congratulations! Last but not least was a super fun and exciting event at the Disneyland Hotel... Thanks to the entire Disney family! May 28, 2009 "Get up, get on up.." A DJ on crutches? Yep, that was me! A fractured bone kept me from loading and setting up equipment, but "I get by with a little help from my friends"! The show must go on, and on it did with 2 singing events, 4 weddings, one corporate event, and 8 planning appointments! There was also one very interesting dance audition...yes, dance audition! March 17, 2009 "Oh Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are callin'..." I spent St. Patrick's day performing and running sound for my favorite murder mystery company, Capers! Of course, a great time was had by all, and as usual, no one was harmed in the making of these mysteries! March 14,2009 "Hello Stranger..." Well it seems like a mighty long time since I've posted! March is blooming with parties, upcoming weddings and live shows. The YMCA held another successful Father/Daughter dance with yours truly at the DJ booth! Thanks Erin, you are so amazing and we are all lucky to have you in charge of such a fabulous program over at the South County YMCA! February 17, 2009 "Don't miss that train, don't miss the party train..." Wow, how time flies! February has been filled with client planning meetings, birthday parties, CD release parties, surprise parties, Valentine's Day parties, and Rockabilly shows. Time to get back to work! Oh wait, celebrating at parties is my work...life is grand! January 18, 2009 "They say it's your birthday..." I'll be in Hollywood tonight celebrating that little old day that I was born...cheers! January 16, 2009 "The Magical Mystery Tour is waiting to take you away..." Tonight I worked with one of my favorite companies, "Capers", based out of Los Angeles. Buzz and Lynn really know how to host a mystery party and tonight's Roaring 20's theme was the Cat's Meow! The party was held at French 75, in Laguna Beach, the perfect setting for our 1920's murder mystery. After setting up the sound and testing the mics, I became "Phoebe", an aspiring actress, nightclub singer...and suspect! Running around in a flapper dress getting to sing, dance, AND prove my innocence was great fun and I can't wait to do it again. By the end of the night plenty of people were guilty, yet no one was harmed! January 9, 2009 "Girl, put your records on..." Today I spent the afternoon recording a remix for a couple getting married soon. They wanted something special for their first dance, and loved the idea of a "first dance remix". You might have seen one of these wedding dances online, they're great! However, this couple wanted something original and I was happy to assist. They picked their favorite songs, their favorite lyrics within each song, and the order they wanted them played. I then created a mix for them incorporating each little bit of song. This is a technique that can also be achieved live. I'm working on recording more mixes to post on my "music & more" page...look for them soon! January 1, 2009 "For auld lang syne, my dear..." Happy New Year! I rang in 2009 as the DJ at the Dove Canyon Country Club and, wow, was it beautiful! A black and white Masquerade Ball and Casino is the perfect setting for a New Years Eve party. During dinner we even had a guest start singing Dean Martin, which led to a full group sing along! By midnight we were all dancing to a more current beat, and to a brand new year! December 25, 2008 "May your days be merry and bright..." Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season! December 21, 2008 "We're gonna rock this town, rock it inside out..." Christmas time is the perfect time for...PROM! That's right, tuxedos, big dresses, and bigger hair. The lovely Surf and Sand Hotel, in Laguna Beach has these incredible themed employee parties, and it is always an honor to DJ for them. Last year's theme was James Bond, and this year's "Prom" was just as amazing. Victor from Invisible Touch was there with me, and let me tell you...Victor is awesome. Every event I have with Victor is guaranteed to be fun! Thanks Sandy, Daniel, Agnes, and everyone at Surf and Sand! December 20, 2008 "Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?..." The Victoria Club in Riverside is beautiful year round, but especially during the Holiday Season! I was invited to DJ and sing at a special event for the Webb Industries. The generous folks from Webb Industries treated their guests to an enormous martini ice fountain, casino tables, a delicious buffet, and of course dancing! A huge thanks to Peggy Todd and the entire Webb staff, I hope to see you all soon! December 18, 2008 "It must have been ol' Santa Claus..." Oh, what fun it is to ride...over to the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, especially around the holidays! The lovely folks at the Ritz held an amazing party for employees and their families. The grand ballroom (or was it the North Pole?) was set up with cookie decorating, face painting, a movie room filled with pillows, an enormous bounce house, a DJ (yours truly!)...And Santa!! Thank you Santa and everyone at the Ritz Carlton for including me in your family. A special thanks to young Noah for the awesome dance moves...and the cookie! December 15, 2008 "Do you believe in magic, in a young girl's heart..." Disneyland is the perfect setting for a Holiday Celebration and the great staff at the Disneyland Hotel always bring the magic! I was honored to DJ another beautiful Father Daughter Dance. I even got to sing this time, with the help of all the lovely young ladies! All the girls were delighted to welcome Mickey Mouse, and he even brought some friends along to join the fun! We had the dance floor jumping all night with dance effect lights hopping to the beat. It was such a treat when some of the ladies began dancing the Foxtrot with their dads...way to go! Thanks again to Erin and everyone at the YMCA South County and YMCA Beach Cities for creating such beautiful memories for all the Daddies and their little Princesses! December 14, 2008 "Luck be a lady tonight..." Friday night I had the pleasure of being an Emcee with Invisible Touch Event Production. A ballroom in the Irvine Hyatt was completely transformed into a Las Vegas Lounge/Nightclub with white satin wall to wall drapery, white leather lounge furniture and top notch intelligent lighting. DJ David kept the hot dance mixes flowing all night, and there were even a few lounge singers in the crowd! Dan put on the best light show, and I was on the mic...and on the dance floor! What an amazing event! December 8, 2008 "Christmas time is here..." Wow, what a weekend! A Great big thanks to the wonderful Disneyland staff and the South County YMCA for a truly magical event. It is always a pleasure to DJ Father/ Daughter events, and so special seeing all the Daddies dancing with their beautiful Princesses...priceless. I also enjoyed helping a friend DJ a church Christmas party this weekend. I'm an exhausted, yet happy gal! December 5, 2008 "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."
